Whats the Truth?
Media and Politics. More or less run our lives even if we dont see it. Politics are running around trying to get people to cote for them so they can do what they believe is right for the country then do the complete opposite or start something.
The Media tells stories and while they are true here and there, they do stretch the truth quit a bit. It can bring more harm then good to people. When they stretch the truth it gives them the ability to both lie but still tell the truth. It gives them more ratings and more praise. Same for Politics.
They say what you want them to hear, but then do something else or doesn't meet our criteria of what we wanted so we get mad at them.
Happens every year and every term. That's normal. But do we ever blame ourselves or find ourselves an issue?
Ask yourself this....If we didn't try to get all these problems done at once, would we be in this situation?
If you think about it... not really. As people we normally think of ourselves and our loved ones and whats best. But we also want whats best for everyone at the same time as well. But sometimes we put ourselves first.
However, we always try to have someone else fix the problem as well. So we push it on someone who has a higher power then us, but thats the problem. We add more things to them to try and fix it, then they let us down and we try to give those problems to someone else, but then we create more problems.
We need to fix them ourselves and help the bunch. The more we create, the more we expect out of the people in power. An the more they try to help....it never meets our expectations.
The Media is the same. They tell us the best of things. Or complete disasters to get us to watch them. Like the incident a few years ago in Baltimore. They made it seem like it was 100 times worse then the WWII. And it wasnt.
It was people wanting rights and the truth of a African Americans death. They didnt believe that he wasnt hurt in anyway by the police. But they make things seem worse then they actually are or make it sound like no one is injured in anyway. Like with the Hurricain dissasters. People are compleatly different and while its important to let people know whats going on.... I think it isnt good to have them use the disaster for their own personal gain. Like a top news story helping them from going into the field to the news desk.
A huge promotion in some peoples eyes. A big news story like that can mean a lot of things. Promotions, ability to go places only field reporters can dream of. An having everyone know your name.
Same with Journalists. If you dont have the right stories or sources, you can get the boot.
